A Message From the Editor

The Trump administration continues to make bold promises when it comes to U.S. health care. This week, recently named CMS chief, Dr. Oz, vowed to "crush fraud, waste, and abuse," but then added "more news on that coming soon." Meanwhile, a pair of executive orders from the White House aim to knock out Biden-era mental health parity rules and move the needle on health care price transparency. As an industry, the "more news coming soon" part sounds all too familiar, as we've heard these kinds of promises out of D.C. for years now. Only time will tell if this round will be any different.
